Okay, so I've been hearing about this chapter 32 so much that today in the bookstore, I read it. And I have to say... curiosity maimed this cat.
It had my heart rate going and my mouth agape... and then the descriptions of the fangs in the skin & the blood & the noise the skin makes breaking... my heart rate skyrocketed, my blood fizzled, I turned pale, needed a place to sit down but couldn't find one, broke out in a cold sweat and ran to the bathroom thinkng I was about to throw up!
After I finished hyperventilating over the B&N toilet, I found a seat and eventually stopped shaking.
I dont know if it was because I hadn't eaten breakfast, or residual effects from the allergic reaction to dinner last night, or the simple fact that I have the exact same reaction when faced with a needle... but no book has ever done THAT to me before, I'll say that much!
