Here's a break down of my month:
August 12 - TV interview with local station (Hoping I don't puke on camera)
August 14 - Signing at Page & Palette in Fairhope, AL
August 19 - Paranormal Roundtable discussion at Suvudu.com, 4:00pm Eastern
The rest of the month will be spent revising Blood Secrets. So what's everyone else up to?

Very cool J! No real plans for this month...I'm trying to catch up some on reading...an entire month of editing really cut into my reading

Writing, rewriting, rewriting. All the way until Christmas. But you know that already. Varoom! The signing was great... except for the part afterwards where I tried to kill myself with whiskey infused bread pudding

Yes, you tried to kill yourself with bread pudding and whipped cream. It really would've been an inglorious death. I'm happy you lived.....and didn't walk into any walls. Varoom! ;D

I've been spending my month playing host to 4 20YR olds. My German daughter, Clara, was in town for a few weeks and 2 of Ailish's college friends also came to stay for a while. It's been giddy fun and exhausting. They go home tomorrow. While I've really enjoyed it, I'll be glad to have my house back. There's been the occasional drama, but I keep reminding myself when Ailish is back at school I'll miss it. Interestingly enough, the biggest drama queen has been the 6ft black kid with the massive 'fro and fingerless leather gloves. I think I've pretty much got him whipped into shape, though. He's a good kid, master of snark (which I can admire). He just has a habit of not eating because he doesn't want to "impose". That doesn't fly in THIS house. I inherited my Southern mother's gene that dictates cooking and food equal love. You WILL eat until we have to roll you out of here, 'cuz we love you. LOL!

T, invest in a heavy duty wheelbarrow...you can roll them out easily once you fatten them up!

Congrats, Jeannie! OMG, TV! Yaaaay! I just noticed T's household rules. "Not Necessarily in that order."? I think seconds have to come second. By definition. BTW, there's a book in the True Crime section at work called "Blood Secrets". I peed on it. Okay, no I didn't. But you giggled. Then, when I went to the website to show you the True Crime book, I came across ANOTHER one with that title, this one a trashy romance thing. Check 'em out. True Crime BLOOD SECRETSTrashy Romance BLOOD SECRETS
