My Muse clobbered me with the Club of Inspiration last night around midnight and the idea I was considering for the short story kinda flew out the window and a new one flew in. *sigh* 'Tis the way of the writer....

But, if I can keep the new idea going, it could be a lot of fun. This is the first line (subject to change, of course) as it came to me last night:
