Facebook has restructured their guidelines for contests/promotions advertised via profiles and pages. The new rules state we (authors and others who do this on a regular basis) can no longer run "Like Me" contests, such as "I'll give away Prize X if I reach 2000 'likes' to my author page." Bummer. Therefore, I will no longer be using that particular method of promotion for any books. Any and all current Facebook related contests are canceled. All contests will now be advertised via Twitter, this forum, my website, blogs, and newsletter. To read the new Facebook policies, click here.

Wow! They've just basically cut themselves off from virtually all kinds of marketing...they're going to lose quite a lot of activity through that...

I saw that and it sucks. I'm guessing it's because they want you to pay for advertising your page.
