Just finished Dogs and Goddesses by Jennifer Cruisie, Anne Stuart and Lani Diane Rich. Campy fun with dogs that talk. Great audiobook (same reader as the Kate Daniels books).

Just finished a YA fantasy The Shifter by Janice Hardy... which was quite good and a really interesting newish premise. And I started Black Rain by Graham Brown.

I just finished the second Jane Yellowrock book by Faith Hunter, BLOOD CROSS. Very good, you would like this series Vampy...very little romance, lots of action and plot twists. SKINWALKER is the first book.

I love the Temeraire series of books. This one takes place in Australia. Laurence has been convicted of treason and sent there to do his time. Of course Temeraire is with him. The author does a wonderful job describing the Australian Outback and recreating the period dialog. I sometime have a hard time understanding what they are actually saying so I have to slow down for the longer conversations.  |
