LMAO! Why does this creep you out? Or is it that she actually told you rather than that she seems to be a healthy, normal, female?

DL, I know that Borders has a pretty strict streetdate that we can't put the book out until the 6th or the publisher comes down on us. But I do have pictures of the book in the wilds of our backroom.

Oh, I know about the street dates...I'm just commenting that this is the same B&N where I had to ask someone to go out back for a copy of Cheat the Grave and then they only bothered to bring out the single copy for me, despite the fact that they were supposed to have at least two different facings of it...

The people of B&N has told me that they do not have them. They will receive them on Monday, so I think there is no way I could get a copy before the release date

Never underestimate the stubbornness of q crazy Spaniard. I called B&N AGAIN and the book seller got me the book from the back. I started reading my copy last night (graphic evidence coming soon!)

Less than 12 hours vampy! I would say I'm going to read it tomorrow, but it's on preorder through Amazon so who knows when I'll get it...

I hand sold a copy of Blood Law tonight at the Gulfport B&N. I was in the process of moving the books from the very bottom of the tower to the top (so it was more visible) and young woman asked me about another book... thinking I worked there (I don't). So I told her I didn't know the answer to her question but she should by Jeannie's book... and she totally bought it on the spot! ::pat pat:: Jeannie should hold some sort of contest with a prize for the minion who sells that most books!

Good news everyone! I got my Blood Law. The bad news(no so bad really) is I managed to order it twice. I am pretty sure Amazon will refund it no probs.
I read Chapter One, it's pretty good.

Okay, someone's got to be done reading by now! My first thoughts were: I love Alex. She's strong and independent, but still has some indecision and weakness. Like Raven said, flawed enough to relate to. All the things she has to deal with! Holy Crap! We thought Vicki was evil to Jo, but Jeannie's right up there on the 'character torturing' chart! Thank goodness she has a great supporting family. Varik! He's the perfect counterpart for Alex and their clashes are some of the best parts of the book. I really want to get into Tasha's head. She's got some secrets of her own and I want to know them NOW. What I think Jeannie really does best is her villain. So creepy! Having grown up in the South, I can totally see the average small Southern town reacting negatively to vampires 'coming out'. So what did everyone else think? (Remember spoiler tags if necessary)

I want to kill the red-neck sheriff or at the very least shoot his other knee....but Jeannie says she has plans for him. Sigh.......

I'm having a blast reading Blood Law. Around page 200, so I will finish it before meeting Jeannie at Murder by the Book in Houston. I don't know if I would read the sneaky pesky of Blood Secrets. It would make the wait even longer...
